In last article,we talked about How should a dentist judge the quality of a dental high-speed turbine.Here let’s share some key points for how to judge the quality of dental low-speed handpieces as below.
1.Straight handpiece
The spindle is the key of the straight handpiece. The run-out of our company’s spindle is controlled within 0.02mm to reduce vibration.
2.Contra angle
The gear is the key of contra angle. All gears of our company are processed by CNC to ensure the precision of each tooth and reduce vibration.
3.Air motor
The cylinder end of the air motor is ground with a surface grinder. The sealing performance is good to ensure that the gas does not leak, which is all converted into kinetic energy to ensure the air motor torque. In addition, the cylinder liner of the motor is made of alloy steel, and the common one is copper with an inner hole. Use a grinder to polish to the mirror surface to extend the service life. At the same time, the cylinder blades are made of British EK material and graphite is added. EK material has good wear resistance, and graphite has flexural lubricity, which also extends the service life of the motor.
4.Transmission spindle
The same gear is welded to the spindle by laser, which is durable and guarantees torque. The gears and spindle are made of 42 stainless steel and special heat treatment to ensure the long life of the whole bend.
