If the dental ultrasonic scaler has any of the following conditions, the dentists can check first and try to solve it by themselves. The problem-solving process will deepen your understanding of the ultrasonic scaler, making it easier to use.

What should I do if the main device is not powered on?

1.Power connection problem

First check whether the power supply is plugged in properly, and make sure that the power supply is properly connected with the power grid socket, adapter, and the scaler main device without looseness.

2.Whether the power supply matches

Check whether the power supply number is consistent with that of the main device, and do not use non-random power supplies that do not match.

3.Power switch is not turned on

Observe the power adjustment knob of the main device, if it is in the OFF position, turn the knob to turn on the power.

4.Power supply is damaged

If there are other random power supplies, or other power supplies that meet the performance parameters, you can replace them for troubleshooting.

Why does the tip not vibrate?

1.The main device is not powered

Connect the main device to the power supply, and make sure that the main device is powered on.

2.Foot pedal problem

Check whether the foot pedal switch is plugged in properly, and make sure that the foot pedal switch is properly connected to the main device. If the foot pedal switch is malfunctioning, you can connect the foot pedal switch to another scaler or replace it with another foot pedal switch for troubleshooting.

3.Improper installation of tip

Be sure to use the wrench delivered with the machine and install the tip according to the instructions. If you use a tip or wrench that is not manufactured by same one, it may be improperly installed or damaged.

The power of the handle is low, not strong enough!

1.The gear is not up

Check whether a lower power gear is selected, and increase the power gear of the main device to obtain higher output power.

2.Mismatched tip

Check the markings on the surface of the tip to ensure that the tip of the same manufacturer is used.

3.Incorrect installation of tip

Use the supplied limited-force wrench to tighten the working tip clockwise until the wrench slips to ensure that it is properly installed.

4.Impurities, dirt

There are impurities and dirt in the threads of the horn and the working tip, and the working tip needs to be re-tightened after cleaning.

5.Cracked and damaged working tip

If you use working tips or wrenches from different dental manufacturers, the working tips may be damaged. Please use the same dental manufacturer’s wrenches to replace the new ones.
